Renee Lynch Independent Stamp Up! Demonstrator

This a quick card that looks completed. I guess I love layers. Do you love layers like me? Leave me a comment and let me know.

This card is featuring the Perennial Birthday Stamp set this set is carrying over into the 2018-2019 annual Stampin' Up! catalogue WOO HOOO! (I love this set if you couldn't tell)

To create the background I used two different stamps out of the set. One I stamped using Melon Mambo the leaves I used Lemon Lime Twist. It looks effective right?

I then layered the second largest square out of the stitched shapes fraimlits in Melon Mambo on to a scalloped Lemon Lime Twist square. The sentiment was stamped on to a strip of whisper white and the little flowers fussy cut to add texture.  Finally I finished with a bow in Lemon Lime Twist mini stripped ribbon. I love a good bow too!

Myths and Magic Dragon Trio

Renee Lynch Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

I wanted to share with you three cards using the Myths and Magic bundle from the 2018 Occasions catalogue. This set is retiring 😢 So if you love it get it NOW!

These three cards have the same lay out but are all slightly different, one more stepped up then the other. I love this idea, depending on how much time you have or how many products you have will depend in the level of complexity you Card you will create.

Keeping it simple!
Sometimes less is more here is a few simple layers and some one step stamping. I stamped the dragon in Lemon lime twist throughout the background. I then stamped it in momento black on Calypso Coral card and used the dies to cut it out in the bigshot.

Step it up!
Stepping it up with a little extra bling. Here I added some ribbon along the bottom and twine across the top. The background and layers are pretty much the same but the feature dragon, I coloured him in with stampin Blends. I heat embossed the sentiment with white powder on basic black card and cut it out using the classic label punch. Finally I added a few tutti-fruitti sequins.

Go all out!
The final card in this trio was the over the top card I personally love to create. I love detail and extra flair. This is for the avid crafter! It uses some water colour wash in the back ground, the big shot with an embossing folder and to add some extra bling some twine and adhesive baked sequins were added. The background of dragons were quickly washed over with Calypso Coral ink using and an aqua painter. The panels that the dragon is mounted on have been embossed using the petal pair embossing folder run through the big shot and iv added a scollop along the bottom using the decorative ribbon boarder punch. This card is also finished with the sequins. love, love, love this card.
