A new home

Renee Lynch Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Today I created a card for a few different reasons, first was I needed a card for my best friend as she has just moved into a new house. Second was I wanted to play along with the Global Design Project. This GDP is their 100th challenge so time to celebrate. I find it so easy to create when I have a person in mind. I try to use colours they like as well as colours I like and also stamps that remind me of them.

I was actually inspired by Susan Wong who also played along with this weeks GDP click HERE to check out her AMAZING card. I love how challenges inspire your creativity in so many ways. The GDP designer we were both inspired by was Shaun De Oliveirs here is the card he created for the #GDP100

So here is the card I made! Lots of layers and textures.
I am loving the sheet music background stamp it is so cool to create a custom background to personalize a card. The little house I cut out with the Big Shot using some new dies called Hometown Greetings and the home sentiments comes from the coordinating stamp set Hearts Come Home.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my creation today.

14 Aug 2017

Its flash back time, to one of my all time favorite cards and stamp set!
I love love love this colour combo. Melon Mambo and Mint Macron.
Although some of the products I used in this card are retired most of them are still current.

I came across photos of this card as I was soughing out my photo files on my computer. I'm trying to get all my photographs in order so that I can get them all into albums.
I'm LOVING Stampin' Up! Memories and more system which is super quick and easy to scrap book my memories fast and easily. Stay tuned to see lots of ideas n sneak peeks in me doing this.

With my second baby on the way I need to get organised and prepare my son's baby album
before I have two to do, and so I can remember who is who!
I'm so glad Stampin Up! have the solution to my problem and hopefully I can get on top of it quickly.

Iv been married nearly four years and my husband still makes me ridiculously happy so,
I made him this card for our upcoming Wedding anniversary.

I don't know about you but I struggle like I mean really struggle with masculine cards, so I'v set my  self a challenge and made this months card class Masculine themed. I figure surely I'm not the only one struggling with creating cards for the men, so why not inspire some people and in turn myself.

I need a ton of male cards this month and next with my dads birthday this month and fathers day and my husbands birthday next month.
So here goes keep your eye out for more masculine themed cards!!

Today I'm also playing along with the #GDP099 click HERE to check it out and play along!
