More and more babies

Hello and welcome to another INKspired blog hop! Before me on the hop this week is Maree McIntosh and I'm sure she has something interesting to show us!

 
 

 

This Blog hop I have babies on my brain with my second sister due to pop any day and baby showers popping up here, there and everywhere ekkk!!! How exciting!!

SO with babies obviously my choice of topic this week I set out to create something fun and cute with this sketch as my guiding light!

I didn't like this sketch to begin with however it grew on me and by the end I had created two cards! WOO HOO go me!! LOL

 

 

 

So first it was the boys!

 

 

 

I just love this large bread tag! Here I cut it out of soft sky and then pierced around the out side using the paper piercer and a template out of the eclectic paper piercing pack.

The joy and the cute little bows either side of the baby banner were cut out of brushed gold paper, isn't it just sweet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 I love the little Toucan out of zoo babies stamped in Mint Macaron.

 

 

 

 

 

 Then its the girls turn!
With this card I turned the sketch on the side. 

The tag I cut out of blushing bride and the tea doily behind makes it so pretty for a sweet new baby.

This time I used linen thread for the bows and a very vintage button!

 
 
 

 
 

I then pierced around the out side of the card, I feel this finished the card off.

INKspired Blog Hop 20

Butterfly

 

Hi all, its so nice to be back playing along with all the lovely INKspired girls!

 

Just before me is Narelle Macey

 

Well I have been away from my stampin up life for almost three months travelling  some very special parts of the world! I must admit I found it a little hard to find my stampin mojo this week, but I am so glad I played along and "jumped back on the horse".

 

This fortnight I had some very special people to make cards

for as there were birthdays here there and every where.

 

I always find it easier to create when I have some one in mind!

 

 

 

Here is the sketch we are working with this fortnight.

 

 

I played around with a few ideas but they just weren't "right" so with the new butterfly stamps I started playing!

 

Here is the card I came up with....

 

 

 

I cut the cute little butterflies out of Pool Party card using the Bold Butterfly framelits die, and I used the Butterflies thinlits die to cut the butterfly outline out of the Elegant Eggplant panel.

 

 

 

I just love how the butterflies dance off the side of the card!

 

 

 

 Elegant Eggplant, Pool Party and Crumb Cake

look so sweet together, a combination that I must say I stumbled across.

Your Amazing!!

 

Pretty flowers for a sweet friend!

 

 

 

 

 

Hello and welcome,

 

 

I made this card super quickly as a last minuet card for a friend. It always surprises me what I come up with under pressure. Some time I can sit for hours procrastinating over a card, and then I create a card like this in minuets. So simple easy and I love it!

 

 

 

 

The background is the beautiful Stampin' Up! stamp set Indescribable gift stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla card stock.

 

 

 

 

 

 

These beautiful flowers are a single stamp called Love Is Kindness stamped in Momento ink and its coloured in Old Olive and Wisteria wonder blendies (blendabilities) I placed it on a piece of So Saffron card stock punched out with the Label Bracket punch and of course some Jute Twine.

 

Finally the sentiment is from the set Painted Petals stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

INKspired Scetch Bloghop 13

Hi all and welcome to the thirteenth INKspired sketch blog hop. You may have just come from Narelle Macey or started here Welcome!

 

Each fortnight we get a new sketch to INKspire us. These are designed by the beautiful Teneale Williams. I love the Inspiration of these sketches.

Some are very testing and others help me to create works of art that I love.

 

This is the 13th sketch,

 

 

Now I didn't follow this sketch too a tee, however in my defence it was the creative inspiration behind the card I created this week for a friend to give to her sister!

The bref she gave me was a card for her sisters baby shower and she knew she was having a girl.

 

To all you card makers out there u would understand that this was a hard one hey!

So I went with my gut and my personal taste after all she asked me to make the card so she obviously likes my style, right!

 

This is the card!!

 

 

 

 

 

 This is the inside of the card.

The good news is she loved it and so did I.

 I love pretty things and pink so this card ticks all the boxes.

 

I hope you like it too and you can forgive me for not sticking exactly to the sketch!

INKspired Blog Hop 12

 SWEET AND SIMPLE

Hi there and welcome to the INKspired Blog Hop you may already in the Hop and have come from
Narelle if not Welcome to the Hop!


Here is the sketch we are working with this fortnight!

I quiet enjoyed this sketch, and with having next to no time this week to get into my craft room I wanted to make a simple and quick card, to show you all that no matter how busy our lives can become, we can all find 10 minuets to stop and make some one else smile.

I love to do this with cards as you all can guess!

Pool Party, So Saffron and Crumb Cake are three colours that make me smile, and of course 

a little dazzling diamonds always make a girl smile!

These cute flowers are out of the painted petals stamp sets as I said I wanted to keep this simple so I went with these small flowers.

Everyone's Birthday should make them feel special for just that one day it should be a celebration all about them, so I choose the celebrate banner out of the Balloon Bash set. I stamped the image in So Saffron on Whisper White card and then cut out the celebrate.

Hopefully I can make a dear friend smile with this card!

Pretty Blossoms

 

Wow another blog hop, the weeks just fly by.

I have been very busy on the farm this past two weeks with
everything happening at once,
I haven't had time to play in my crafty corner (sigh)

 However it does feel good to get a little ink on my fingers!

 

Here is the sketch for this week,

 

 

 

I really enjoyed this sketch, it was very much my style.

I decided to do a little colouring with my blendies this week,

 

Here is the card I created.

 

 

 

 

The new pastel Blendabilities from Stampin' Up! are beautiful and

I love playing with them!

they suit the Indesribable Gift stamp set so well.
