ESAD 2016-2017 Annual Catalouge Blog Hop

 

Welcome today we're playing with new products out of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue and we're also hopping with some friends from ESAD (Extra Special Australian and New Zealand Independent Demonstrators)

I'm super excited to be apart of this blog hop and cant wait to hop all the way around 

and see what the other girls have to show us.

I love water colouring and I'm loving the new In colour Flirty Flamingo,

so i started playing around with a water colour background.
 Here is what i created.

First I stamped feathers from the Feather Together stamp set down the page in versamark ink and clear embossed them. I then used Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride and So Safron to water coloured over the top, going over and over allowing the colours to blend together lightest to darkest.
 

 

I have then added some bokeh technique by adding some craft white Ink spots
 with a sponge dauber and some clear wink of stella

I Love Love Love this look, its so pretty. 

The Happy Birthday is stamped on some Flirty Flamingo card in Craft white ink.

I stamped over the top of each feather to make them pop out and then added some sequins and pearls

Baby Bear Box

Hello,

Today I'm so excited as the 2016-2017 Stampin' Up! annual catalogue is LIVE. It is packed full of so many wonderful new product and I cant wait to share them with you.

Last month I attended On Stage Local in Sydney, it was so inspiring. Its hard to explain how much an event like this does for my creativity, it gets me bouncing with ideas and enthusiasm. One of my most favorite things about Stampin' Up! events are the FREE products we get. I was one of the lucky ones winning this Beautiful Baby Bear stamp set.

Isn't he adorable!!
This beautiful bear is a three step stamp, meaning the colour combinations you can 
experiment with are endless.  

So iv had a bit of a play and here is what i came up with.

A gift box of baby thank you card. 

What a great gift for a new mum!

The colour combo i used for this bear was Crumb Cake stamped off once, straight Crumb Cake for step two and then finally Chocolate Chip. I also added a hint of Soft Sky for a touch of Boy, but you could also do it Blushing Bride for the girls!

Baby turns One

Well Hello,

Today I was playing around with an idea for some first birthday cards.

Iv got a few very special little girls who are about to have their first birthdays! I cant believe 12 months has passed so fast. 

So i set on a mission to create some super cute girly cards. I started by looking through my stash of Stampin' Up! goodies and i came across this adorable little Deer out of the Made with Love stamp set. I just love this cute little one and i also love water colouring so i had a bit of fun colouring her in. I then used a strip of the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (DSP) out of the occasions catty on the bottom and added that touch of Pink Pirouette. Finally i cut out the big number 1 out of the Number of years stamp set and dies in the middle and also stamped the "Look who is turning" above, these were in Pool Party. Didn't it turn out just so super cute!!

Hello and welcome to this fortnights INKspired Blog Hop!

Just before me on the blog hop is our wonderful sketch creator Teneale Williams!

Well I'm so excited that I made this fortnights blog! Haha the joys of being a new mum is you never no what the next day will bring and I'm so glad I got to get a little creative this week!

I loved working with this sketch there are so many possibilities, Ill defiantly be using this sketch again.

So this is the sketch.

 

I am so in LOVE with this Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper it is so BEAUTIFUL! A lace doily is also a very firm favourite of mine, it just adds that touch if girly to any card!

The card base is soft sky and I popped the DSP panels up on some blushing bride to edge them. The Happy Birthday stamp is out of the Number of years stamp set.

INKspired Blog Hop 35

Hello,
 welcome to the 35th INKspired Blog Hop!

I've been a little absent for just a few weeks as a rather exciting event took place. in mid January I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy! As this is my first baby its all a very steep learning curve!
Iv had my hands pretty full, however this week i was itching to get back into my craft room and have a little "mummy" time! Just before me is the beautiful Barb I will be hopping to her blog to see what she has created this week!

OK So enough about me and more about this weeks hop!

This is the sketch for this week.

Here is my card....

This week i kept it very simple. Some times less is more!

As i have a lot of birthdays coming up i needed to make a few cards fast! following on Shannon West #imbringingbirthdaysback quest! I'm sending out lots of birthday cards this year!

 

I love the birthday blooms stamp set! I stamped the back ground flower with melon mambo ink on melon mambo card, ant the sentiment i heat embossed with white embossing powder to make it pop!

Hello and welcome back,
Its a new year and all the crazy season is over, (I THINK???) OMG how fast does time fly!

Just befor me on this Blog Hop is Marlene Goulder I'm sure she has wow you all with her creation!

This week iv been having a play with some of the new products just before our catalogue launch yesterday! I've had so much FUN!!

Unfortunately I didn't realise it was a square sketch, which is a shame because I think this card would look amazing as a square if I had more time I would have made another one.

 

I'm so in love with this stamp set out of the new occasions catty Birthday Blooms!

I love the colours of the new Birthday bouquet DSP and used them as my inspiration.

 

 

 

Well this hop I was a little rushed but next fortnight

hopefully ill have a little more time to sit and be more creative with my blog entry!

what a BIG year its been, and iv enjoyed every minuet, especially all this hopping business !

Of course this week had to be a Christmas card!

I just love Christmas and enjoy making cards for my friends and family.

With this card I decided to use a non traditional colour pallet

Crumb Cake, Soft Sky and Very Vanilla!
